A cloud subscription typically includes unlimited video storage on a 180-day rolling loop. It also offers advanced AI features such as precise detection, detailed event analysis, and real-time alerts for potential threats. In addition, one subscription can cover up to two devices under the same plan.
Can I try cloud plan before I purchase?
Yes. Every new account includes a 90-day free trial of cloud storage and AI features, which is automatically activated when you register. After the trial ends, you’ll need to either continue the cloud subscription or use a FAT32-formatted microSD card to enable recordings and notifications.
How many devices can one subscription cover?
One subscription can be shared across up to two devices, allowing you to manage and monitor both under a single plan.
Do I need a subscription for a video doorbell to work?
No, a subscription isn’t required for basic operation. Most video doorbells still provide essential features like live view and motion alerts without a plan. However, cloud services unlock more advanced capabilities, including AI-powered alerts, smarter event detection, and a more complete user experience.
